UPDATE - There will be a memorial service for Carson on Friday February 10th at 2 pm at
Mattatall's Funeral Home, 217 Portland St., Dartmouth for all his friend from the
Biker Community - please pass the information along.

January 30th, 2006 We have some sad news within our community.  Carson Clark, an active biker from Dartmouth,
who belonged to the Wild Cards Motorcycle Club in the Valley was found dead in his home over the holidays.
Another very good friend of his found it strange that he hadn't heard from him or picked up his mail for a few days
and decided to find help and get inside his home to find out if he was ok.  Carson's untimely death was due from a
heart attack at the young age of 47.  As most of you  know about my mishap a few years back with my motorcycle.
Carson's driveway was where I ended up, and he was there in a flash to help me out.  So with a heavy heart, I ask
you to keep him in your thoughts and prayers.

January 24th, 2006   - This is short notice but I was just contacted this afternoon about the death of Bernard
Gaudet, 39, who was found dead in the woods over the weekend.  You may remember him as he traveled on his 250cc,
complete with sheepskin, around the Halifax area.  He was never happier than when he was on his bike and around bikers.
He led a simple life with not many frills and died without much except the love of a lady whom he was to marry this year.
The funeral service for Bernard is tomorrow, Wednesday, January 25, 2pm, at Atlantic Funeral Home, 6552 Bayers Road,
(next to Tims) Halifax.  Visitation is at the same place from noon ‘till 2.  Rev. James Haughn will conduct the service and has
asked that as many bikers as possible come out to bid him farewell and encourage those who did know him.  Some of his old
buddies may be up from Yarmouth.
Wear your colours.   Please come prepared to give a small donation ($5 or whatever) to help with funeral expenses.

Hope to see you there.

Angela Beth Murray  Nov.23/62 - Apr.24/08

We are saddened by the sudden loss of a true biker - Angela Murray. She passed away surrounded by her
ever loving family and friends after a brief hospital stay. She was a proud member of Defenders Chapter 11

her " IMAGINE A CURE" tattoo. Ange has been described as the one with the sidecar who was always
smiling and how true this was.Soggy leather and riding boots full of water meant nothing to her. "It's only
water" she would say. She had a great outlook on life and lived life to the fullest, "One Day at a Time", even
with the knowledge of her brain tumor. Ange will be sadly missed buy her family and friends and especially "
