Pictou County Cruisers Motorcycle Club Regulations
In order to join the Pictou County Cruisers Motorcycle Club you must:
1.Own a motorcycle 2. Be at least 19 yrs of age 3. Must be willing to help out the club put on events
The membership process is as follows you need to attend 3 weekly meetings before you can be given an application for membership. After you turn in your application with a 40.00 entrance fee you will be voted on for your 30 day investigation period. At the end of 30 days you will be voted on for your 6 month probationary period. At the end of the 6 month probationary period you will be voted on for active membership in the Pictou County Cruisers Motorcycle Club and have all rights and privileges as all members.

There will be a $40.00 entrance fee paid by all members of the Pictou County Cruisers Motorcycle Club
A monthly fee is required to be paid in order to maintain a member in good standing.
Only members of the club are permitted to attend closed meetings. Guests are permitted to attend all open general meetings.
A seven-member executive will act in the interests of the club. From within the Executive there will be; a chairperson ( President), a vice-chairperson, a treasurer, and a secretary.
The Executive will conduct business in the best interest of the general membership. The Executive must ensure minutes of meetings are maintained. The Executive will meet as required. The Chairperson (President) may call a meeting of the Executive as required to conduct the business of the club. The Chairperson must give notice to all Executive Members when calling any meeting of club business. All motions will be floored, and voted on by a show of hands. The Chairperson (President) does not have a vote, and only votes in the event of a draw. Only club members of good standing are to vote on any motions, or bring forward any business during any meetings.
The insignia or club colours of The Pictou County Motorcycle Club ( Cruisers) are copyrighted, and are the property of The Pictou County Cruisers. When a member leaves the club he or she is required to hand over all rights to any insignia/colours of their membership with the Pictou County Cruisers Motorcycle Club.
Only Life members may retain the insignia of the Club. A life member would no longer be required to pay monthly dues, and may retain any insignia of The Pictou County Cruisers. A life membership must be past by a majority at a general meeting of the membership.
In the event of a life member, or any members brings dishonour to the insignia, or The Pictou County Cruisers that member is subject to removal of their membership with the Club.
The insignia is first and for most the property of the Pictou County Motorcycle Club, and is subject to removal by the general membership of the Club.
It is the goal of The Pictou County Cruisers MC. to be viewed in a good manner or way. Any Member of the club is subject to removal by a vote of the general membership / a show of hands. A Closed meeting would be held, and the member nominated for removal from the club will have the right to present His/her case to the general membership of the club. A members removal from the club must be 100% in favrr or agreement; there for removing any doubt.
It is the responsibility of every member of the Pictou County Motorcycle Club to maintain the public image of our organization. Therefore a member of the club should not make any statement, or communicate in a manner that portrays the Pictou County Motorcycle Club unfavorably in anyway.
Prospective members must be sponsored by a member in good standing with the club. It is important to the safety of all riders that prospects ride with the club for a period of time.
On the recommendation of the Executive Committee a Prospective Member will be nominated for a membership within the Pictou County Cruisers MC. The General Members of the club will vote 100% in favor of the Prospective Member joining the Cruisers.
If a Prospective Member is denied entry in the club the Member or Members of the Pictou County Cruisers MC, must present their reason or reasons why the Prospective Member is denied entry in the Club.
Therefore if a Prospective Member is denied entry in the club he/ she has a right to be heard in defense of any accusations.
Prospective and Non-members, are not members of the Pictou County Motorcycle Club (Cruisers), and do not have any say in any matters concerning the club. Prospects do have the right to be present at all club functions, and it is part of their assessment period.
Prospective members are to ride within the club. Members of other clubs and guests are held in regard, and will also ride within the club members. Non-members are to ride in the back of the group, and follow any travel order of the club. A member of the Pictou County Cruisers in good standing may be present at any General meeting by way of a written proxy. The member at the meeting is entitled to vote by proxy, and has two votes. Any member of the club can only hold one proxy, and must also be in good standing.
