not Nova Scotia but thought I would post this in case there is anyone

May 29th -  Christian Motorcyclists Association Mainland NS
Chapters’ Run for the Son, Meets at 9:30 am at Arby’s, Bedford,
NS, Run Leaves at 10am for a nice scenic 2 hour ride to join up with MMTA

May 29th - This is the tenth year of the Pictou County Awareness Ride
and the Cruisers are putting on a Show and Shine, the Saturday before
the ride . The Show & Shine will be at the Thistle  (612 East River Road,
New Glasgow, Nova Scotia)   it's located right beside the Empire Theatre in
New Glasgow, Saturday 29 May 2010.
NOTE:  The Show and Shine will run from 11.00 am till 5 pm, If anyone
from across the province would like to put their bike in the show than they
would be more than welcome , registration will take place at 9am Saturday
the 29th at the Thistle. We also welcome any vendors or business that
would like to participate in the Awareness Ride or the Bike Show , -

May 30th - 10th Annual  Awareness Ride will be on the last Sunday in May
finishing off Motorcycle Awareness Month with a bang on the 30 May 2010.
Once again this year the plan will be to meet in Pictou  at 12:00 pm and
leave at 1:00 pm ending at Summer Street for BBQ .  All are welcome.

August 8th - Coastal Drifters Memorial Toy Run.  Leaving the
Barrington Lion’s Hall at 1 o’clock then the run will end back at
the Barrington Lion’s Hall where fish chowder will be served. Admission
is free but a new unwrapped toy or donation would be greatly

be dropped off at the Lion’s Hall in Barrington. This event will be

August 13th - 15th - Bikes Blues and Camping..... 6th Annual Dutch
Mason Blues Festival is coming again to the Truro Raceway and
Exhibition Grounds, BIble Hill, NS.  Three days of Bikes, Blues and
BBQ.  Outdoor concerts, Custom Motorcycle Show, Onsite
campground,etc.  All a great time!  Future updates coming at

Aug 13, 14 & 15 - Truro Motorcycle Weekend  - this will include many
different events and attractions all thru Truro. Some of the events already
planned are -  opening ceremonies in Victoria Park on Saturday August
13th at 12 noon ending in a parade that will end at the Stadium where we
will have a bikers welcome center open on both Friday and Saturday for
the bikers. A bar and live music there both Friday and Saturday night as
well. There will be a show and shine put on by Inglis Jewellers on Inglis
Street, the Cat Shack will be  bringing in the trick bike riders.   Skin
Decision will be putting on a Tattoo Competition,  a swap meet at the fire
hall (Marie MacDow be putting that on so people looking to sell can contact
her to get a spot at marie.macdow@hotmail.com), the food bank is putting
on a flea market, a non profit group will be running camp grounds both
inside town for a quiet one and one outside of town. There are many other
events that we are still working on. This will be on the same weekend as
the Dutch Mason Festival so people can enjoy that as well. Also we are
inviting any non profit organization to make running events as a fundraiser.
Anything that the bikers have to pay for will be run by a non profit
organization and anything that a business sponsors will be free to the
bikers such as the trick bikes. Also we are working on a bike rodeo and

Sept 11th - Ezzy Seven Brotherhood is having their first poker run in
support of SPCA.  This will be a Texas Holdem Poker Run Ezzy Seven
style - You will receive your first card at Fall River Tim Horton's at
10am - 11am then carry on to stop#2 and then finish up at the Ezzy Seven
Club House in Upper Nine Mile River.  To Play it will cost you $7 plus a
can of pet food.  Barbecue will follow with live entertainment.  Come on out
for a great scenic ride!

Sept 11th - Highlanders MC - Cape Breton chapter poker run/pig roast  at
the Cape Breton clubhouse. Poster and more information to come.

Sept 11th  - will mark the 9th anniversary of what is known as 9/11.
Weather permitting; The Red Knights Chapter 1 will be having a
memorial ride on that day. We will be leaving the Bedford Place Mall
parking lot at 6:00 PM sharp and travelling down the Bedford Hwy ,
through the city and back to the Bedford Place Mall. We are hoping to
see many bikes show up for this event, as it will always be a very
emotional piece of history.

Sept 11th -  21st Annual Tantramar Toys for Tots Motorcycle Run
and Dance/Party with Matt Minglewood. MC Run at McDonald’s
Sackville, New Brunswick, (free ¼ pounder). Meet & eat 12pm.
Leave 2pm. Go to Dorchester. Ends at The Civic Centre  
(Sackville Rink) where Draws & Prizes are drawn. Dance/Party with
Matt Minglewood, Civic Centre 8 pm-1 am Tickets $15 at the door,
$12 when purchased in advance, in groups of 10. Some tickets
available for dance at the Toy Run for Toy Run participants.

Sept 11th 74th Crusaders Big Brother/Big Sister Kid’s Ride,
Mochelle, NS 902 532-7269. The Big Brothers/Big Sisters ride starts
at the 74th Crusaders Club House in Mochelle, NS at 1:30 pm. Please
come join in on the fun by taking the kids for a scenic ride on your
bike. Once back at the Club House there will be hotdogs and pop for
everyone. Its a great event and the kids really appreciate it as most
have never been on a motorcycle.

September 11th - MMTA SS III - Toy Run. Leaves three churches parking
lot MaHone Bay at 1 pm. Police escorted ride through Mahone Bay,
Lunenburg, Riverport, Bridgewater ending at the Salvation Army Thrift
Store in Bridgewater. Monetary, toys, school supplies all greatly
appreciated. All bikes welcome. Rain or shine.

Sept 12th - Debert Biker's Picnic that traditionally was held at Reg/Bev
McCabes and this year it will be held on Sunday, September 12 from 11-4
rain or shine.  It is also being held at Hidden Hilltop Family Campground,
2600 Highway #4 in Glenholme .. not at Reg & Bevs.  There is a
recreation  hall that we can use if the weather is not good.

Sept 18th - 19th - Shediac Motorcycle Lobster Rally.  We are
having poker runs, Harvest Run, Ladies only run, burn outs, slow
races,  Downtown street party "Meet & Greet", Dance,  Lobster or
Steak supper (Maybe a dinner theatre) Casino Night and much much
more.......All monies go to the Lions Sick Children's Fund.  To date we
have raised $50,100.00 for kids with rare diseases.  This keeps
getting bigger and better every year.....  for more information contact

poker run is put on by all the clubs throughout Nova Scotia.  $10
